Well we looked at both but ended up choosing Heritage because of it location. Sunset seemed too far south for us. Its not really but it just seemed that way to my husband...LOL. Heritage is bigger and also has a golf course which sunset does not. One thing we liked better at Sunset was the pool. The pool access is included in the HOA. At heritage its not, its extra. Heritage lots seemed larger and had more trees than the ones we saw of the same age (new construction) and price range. Apex/holly springs is a great area though. Its a tough choice.

Nope sorry but this info is incorrect. Sunset Ridge does have a golf course and Tennis club. In fact it is considered one of the best in the area. Pool is not included in your yearly HOA of $140. If you would like swim and tennis it is a one time $950. fee plus $600 per year which you are billed for in two payments (April and Oct) Golf is an additional $4K one time fee plus somewhere around $360 per month for unlimited access on the greens. You can also do a social membership for the club. The pool fees include the club house pool, tennis pool and the pool with the water slide etc. You also have access to Sunset Oaks pool area which is about 5 miles away. I cna tell you as a homeowner in Sunset Ridge that we are very happy here. Love the lot sizes which average about .40 to half an acre. Lov ethe amount of trees that surround the lots. A fantastic neighborhood for kids and families. We are happy with the elementary school and the middle school (have not gotten as far as HS yet). Love the small town atmosphere and the beautiful rural country roads getting to and from Cary etc. Heritage was a bit too far out for us It would have tacked on another 15- 20 minutes to my DH's commute (something we were trying to get away from after coming from the land of commuting CA) His commute is a tidy 20-25 minutes (he works near the RBC center). It takes me 15-20 minutes to get to either Beaver Creek in Apex (target, lowes, movies) or Cross Roads in cary. Of course Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods as well as some pharmacies and banks are right here. For dining out we generally head into Cary. I think but I am not sure that Heritage possibly has some of the same custom builders as Sunset Ridge and I can tell you that neighbors and myself have been extremely happy with the builders quality and follow up. If you have any specific questions please ask and hopefully I can answer them for you!

Please no need for an apology...just trying to give any needed info. The golf course at Sunset Ridge is called Devils Ridge.
