lol, i had the same experience. Correct me if i'm wrong, ive only had them once, its some sort of cornmeal, fried in oil. The ones ive had are pretty good, but of course, pretty bad for you.

I can answer this one! It's a little fried ball of cornbread with onions in it-at least that's what the ones from CookOut look like.

Yes, fried cornmeal basically, They're slightly sweet, leavened balls of cornfmeal which are deep fried. They're usually served with seafood.

Are you kidding? Who can go through life without a hushpuppy?

They're small nuggest of cornbread deep fried, usually have onion powder in them, so they are sweet and savory at the same time. The food of the Gods!
