We don't get many in my small neighborhood. Only 5-6 kids at most. Getting candy doesn't set me back but $2-$3. I imagine some of the larger neighborhoods like Bedford and Heritage are swarmed. I bet buying all that candy starts to add up! So how many come by your house?

About 20. We are in the back of the subdivision on a cul de sac.

Sunset Ridge. I buy somewhere between 300-500 pieces of candy a year. I usually give each kid 2 pieces. Usually I run out before the kids stop coming and have to pull from my own kids stash! Last year people from other neighborhoods were actually driving mini vans full of kids into our neighborhood to trick or treat. A bit crazy!

North Hills Estates...we usually get about 20 to 30 kids. Some streets here probably get many more.

Ranges from zero to maybe a dozen. Sometimes more parents than kids.

Last year I helped friends hand out candy in the Old Mill Stream neighborhood just north of Wake Forest. I'd say they had about 30-40 trick-or-treaters in total, 90% of them under age 13.

This is our first Halloween in Woodcroft and we have no idea how many people we'll get in total. We have a pretty big bowl of candy to give out just in case!

Poor kids - when I was a kid we were given full size candy bars. Nowdays 2, 3 of those little bite-sized things seems kinda pitiful. Oh well I bought enough for several dozen kids but I have to admit I hope I get very few, esp as I have a party to get to

I've never counted - somewhere around 30-50 I would guess.
