I plan to make a visit next month but right now I'm putting together a list of apts complexes that I'd like to see. I'd much prefer a town home set up as opposed to an apt complex but I haven't found many online. If anyone has any knowledge/experience with the following apts:

Northridge Crossings 27616
Courtney Place Apartments 27616
Mission capital Crossing 27616
Stonehenge apts 27615
Hunting ridge 27615

I'd love to hear any other recommendations. Thanks!

The stonehenge area is really nice. We used to live in the townhomes there (The Cottages of Stonehenge). We were renting these townhomes because real estate is generally overpriced in 27615. I noticed that you were being discouraged about living in the 27610 area - but to be honest, when my husband and I decided to purchase our first home, we bought a home in a beautiful subdivision there. Great neighborhood, beautiful home. I think that you will find that townhomes and a lot of homes in north raleigh are overpriced and you will get more for you money when you expand your search to "East of capital blvd.", SE and SW Raleigh. You can find great neighborhoods there. Please look around and see for yourself:

-Sunnybrook Estates
-Quarry Pointe
-Battle Ridge
-Dutchman's Creek
-Hedingham
-Eagle Ridge (beautiful homes)

I hope that you are able to look into these subdivisions when you are ready to purchase your home and realize how well your money will be spent by considering these options.
