yikes. it is going to be 25 degrees saturday morning. better close those foundation vents, insulate your water lines and get out the flannel pj's. i can't believe how much below normal cold weather we have had before winter has even started. what is winter going to bring? i am not looking forward to it.

Yes, but it's 68 degrees right now - I think it's warmer outside than in my house! Just had an enjoyable time sitting outside in my screened porch.

I am prepared for cold weather though - bought a bird bath heater.. as long as the birds are happy, I'm happy!

Wha- wha- huh??

I had planned for Saturday: 2 do-it-yerself oil changes, and one brake shoes replacement. Dang.

Thanks Mister Bojangles for helping me lobby the family for some extra shuteye on Saturday!

Hey, as long as that's not the HIGH for the day! This is my first winter here......I'm feeling sorry right now for my old neighbors back in the midwest......this is when I can say I'm much happier to be here than there!

Hmm, guess I'll have to bust out the windbreaker on Saturday for the AM dog walk. Maybe I'll even wear a long sleave t-shirt underneath.

I'm looking forward to some snow. When will we get some?
