I've been spending way, way too much money eating out since I got here.

Anyway, I also want to endorse Sitar for Indian - and I was happy to find out I live maybe five minutes from it...and Red Palace for Chinese! YES finally a Szechuan restaurant I can drive to whenever I want, instead of waiting until trips back to New York (There is no szechuan food in Tampa Bay).

The people at Red Palace were so funny, they didn't realize I'm heavily into Szechuan cuisine so they said they didn't make the Szechuan beef as spicy as they usually do. They told me to please come back and they'd make it extra spicy (it was quite spicy, but I could have handled more)

I've only eaten at Red Palace for lunch and was very underwhelmed. Is dinner considerably better?

We're still looking for good Chinese food here. I want to ask my neighbors if we can come over for dinner.

I ate there for lunch, but I didn't get the buffet - I went there specifically for Szechuan beef so I don't know how anything else was! My only complaint was it was more like Szechuan carrots and a little beef, but it was tasty.
