My girlfriend and I are moving to Cary in July. She has been an RN on a Cardiac floor for the past two years. Any advice on area hospitals... either from a stay or employment experience? Thanks.
The Triangle area has some of the best hospitals in the country, IMO. Cary is home to one: Wakemed's Cary campus is on eastern end of Kildare Farm Road.
Rex is also top-notch and is a short drive from Cary in west Raleigh on Blue Ridge Road.
Wakemed treated my preemie daughter for 7 weeks and I can't say enough good things about their care. Good luck!

If I were a cardiac nurse, I'd look into Rex or Wake Med. Both have very intensive cardiac programs, especially rehab.
But really, just about all of the hospitals in the triangle are very good and a job at any of them would be just fine.
fwiw, rex has an ad in one of the local lifestyle mags that promotes their having received "magnet" designation from the american nurse credentialing center for having nurses ranked in the top 2% in the country.
