Just moved to Morrisville and gotta believe there is good Indian food to be had around here.

I asked one neighbor, who recommended Paradise Restaurant on 54, but when I look up reviews on-line, most seem sort of negative.

Will probably give Paradise a try anyway, based on actual face-to-face recommendation, but also wondering if anyone has other spots to suggest.

Thanks very much!

For Morrisville, I like Saffron a lot. It's on Davis Dr in the Harris Teeter shopping center (near McCriimon, I think?)

If you are vegetarian, then Tower is probably the best choice. My Indian Coworker states that is his favorite.

If you can get to RTP (about 15 minutes?) then I like Spice and Curry.

There are A LOT of Indian Restaurants in Cary, Morrisville and RTP. These are some of my favorites. Also, the place on Capital Blvd commonly gets good reviews. I have not eaten there in 20+ years, and it is a good 30 minute drive from Mo'ville.

Hope this helps. Best bet is to get out and try them all. The benefits of this approach are obvious. :-)

I've heard good things about Haveli from friends who would know. It used to be India Palace 2, which went through some ownership changes, but now they're on track. The location is a little random, but the food is quite good.

haveli fine indian cuisine by royalindia

The google reviews are really good and the lunch buffet would probably be your best bet for trying a lot of different things

we love Tower, which is a south Indian (vegetarian) restaurant in Morrisville. They have a great lunch buffet.

Paradise is tasty if you're into South Indian food. South Indian is vegetarian so maybe that's why people don't like it as much?

Morrisville is the Indian hotbed of the Triangle area, prob the highest Indian population in the area. Not sure why though, maybe the proximity to RTP or good schools? There's a huge Indian temple in Morrisville too.

Regarding dining options, there's literally tons of nice Indian restaurants in Morrisville or the surrounding Cary area (which literally should be Morrisville if you look on a map).

We love Indian and Chinese food. We used to go to Tower before but recently the quality has degraded so much we stopped going. We like Udupi in Cary which is purely vegetarian. Tried Paradise but did not like it much. Saffron and Spice and Curry may not be good options if you are a vegetarian

We like going to South Indian restaurants because all the North Indian restaurants are pretty stereo-typical

We love Chef's of India in Cary. My DH is Indian and that's his favorite too.

I second the recommendation for Udipi - their weekend buffet is amazing.
