I was in Wake Forest Saturday afternoon and stopped by the Coffee Company on White Street. The coffee shop is located on the first floor of a neat older building with a cool little wine shop with a tasting bar called Twisted Vine tucked away on the second floor (you enter the coffee shop and up then go up staris to enter the wine shop.) The wine shop has a nice little selection of wines at a range of prices and offers free wine tasting on Saturdays from 12-4.
The striking thing about this place is its ambiance. It has exposed brick walls, original hardwood floors, and wine barrel tables set up by windows overlooking white street. I'm pretty sure they serve wine by the glass and on occasion have music. They also feature art from local artists and photographers. This is hidden gem in wake Forest. The coffee shop downstairs is darn good too!
Here are some quick pictures from my visit:

Wake Forest rules!lol. If your moving here and you want quaint. This is where it lives.Long Islanders may relate it to a mini version of downtown Sayville.
LOL I was going to say something to this effect too! Were you in this place after hours NRG?
I was there just as they opened. I don't know how busy it gets during the day. Also, when I take pictures I usually try and get shots without people in them as I find some people don't like strangers taking pictures of them.
Completely understand. We arent far from there so if you are in the area again PM me and we can do a tasting or two.
