There have been a few threads lately about pool builders and pools in general, so I thought I'd add my pics to the database of knowledge here. The builder is Pool Professionals and so far they have done magnificent work. The pool is a bit bigger in the ground than it looked like it would be on paper, but we'll make do Next up is tile, coping, decking, plaster, and SWIM.

My lot is a bit odd...total 0.6 acres. House on the front 1/3, then the rear 2/3 is half wooded (rearmost 1/3 is a 100 year flood plain). Then the upper level you see where the pool is going. There is a mid level between the pool level and the flood plain level that is actually where the city sewer cuts through so it's an easement and I can't use it for anything permanent. It makes for a nicely private and heavily wooded lot in an area that is otherwise quite open and NOT private at all. We got lucky that we were able to get this lot.

Looks fantastic! Well done! Thanks for sharing such great pictures. I'm sure you will really enjoy it.

I plan on pointing people to this thread when they say nobody in the Triangle has a pool.

Here's a better photo showing the multiple levels. We filled in the area where the stairs are shown leading to the second level to make the pool level larger. The mid level has a patio up to the edge of the easement, then the lower flood plain level is where all the trees are, and the lot extends well beyond what you can see. It's about 100 wide by 290 deep.

Thank you. I'll invite anyone with a reputation score above 500 to come over and swim. People who have over 2000 can come twice. LOL
