Maybe that is it. I'll have to look at my pile of papers and see if I have that. I think in my head I was assuming that they were part of the same agreement.

Although I guess they are pretty different. I'm assuming that the agency disclosure isn't going to help the agent if the buyer jumps ship.

Correct. The agent needs an employment agreement for the jumping ship situation.
