This realtor loves her job! Or maybe not, because she just destroyed her career. A Friendswood, TX realtor was caught having sex with her boyfriend in a home that her client closed on only the day before. A neighbor saw the realtor and her partner enter the still empty house and, suspecting something was amiss, called the police. When the police got there, they questioned the couple and discovered marijuana and a pipe in the realtor's car. The new owners filed charges against the couple and they were arrested. The stupidity of people's actions amazes me sometimes.

In this story, the people who hired the realtor had no problems with her and the people who did have problems with her didn't hire her.

You need to change your locks or re-key them the day you close on a house.

I am not sure I would like this, but I am not sure I would care enough to file charges.

My concern here would be the neighbor, but a little nosey in a neighbor is good too.

I agree with the new owners' actions. They paid her a commission for selling their home and instead of acting as a professional and respecting the duties imposed by her license, she brings her boy toy to the empty house uninvited for a sexual rendezvous and doesn't bother hiding the drugs in her car (albeit only marijuana). Has she never heard of hotel rooms? They cost a lot less than the income she will now lose from her RE license being revoked.

Professional reputations are hard earned and easily lost, a broker in charge will go through great lengths ($$$) to protect theirs. Looks like that buyer just got a back-end discount.

She's 22, I doubt she has much of a reputation to lose in what is likely soon to be her former profession of real estate agent

She will likely get nothing.

If she does loose the licence she can simply get another licence in another state. Licencing is a joke.

No I think I would wait until I got the check before doing something so stupid. With that said I think it was an overreaction of the homeowners to file charges.

I grew up in Friendswood....NOTHING bad ever happens there....it is always among one of the safest cities in America despite being a suburb of Houston...The police are extremely pro-active. You can just about guarantee that the police asked the new owners to prosecute.

Its a great little town, with lots of good folks, but when it comes to crime, and things like this....Pick a different city, b/c Friendswood police are extremely aggressive...with a response time of less than 2-3 minutes. The police probably got there before they were able to finish up.
