I was wondering how to get into commercial property management. I got a ton of books from the library, and Im going to take some real estate classes sometime next year. Is a bachelors degree necessary? I read that people with bachelors degrees usually get hired, but I asked a few people and they said its not necessary to have a degree. Im asking because I cant afford to go to a four year school. So is a degree necessary or not? Thanks in advance for all the answers.

My understanding is that you have to be a licensed realtor to get into property management in AZ

No such thing as a licensed Realtor.

You are issued a license from the state.

You become a member of the local Realtor Association to become a member.

Depending on the state law, you may or may not need a license to be a property manager.

Colorado does require off site property managers to be licensed.

Forget about what you need or all the books you took out. Reading a book or getting licensed will not make you a good Property Manager. Do your reading, get your license and then go apply at some existing companies. Start from the ground up, why? That term comes from building a proper foundation upon which all else can rest.

There are many companies out there so get into one of them, learn the ropes, learn the pitfalls and when you are ready, if you are ready and if you still want to, go out on your own.
