FWIW, in my HOA covenant here in WA, renting is not permitted, but that has been allowed to slide since it is better to have people in the homes than nobody. It's worked out okay thus far. We haven't had any major problems with the renters. And as more folks head toward default or foreclosure I think you will see more HOAs be more flexible on the issue.

But all trasnactions do not need to be carried out via the Standard Form.

I wouldn't have known that based upon the information you provided in the prior post.....it didn't mention specifics.....it only referred to the "presence" of radon gas ?

And, I think you are in attorney-land, if you seek recourse. If you feel strongly, consult with an attorney with your story.
It sounds like a bad situation as far as the documents goes, but the defense may well be, "You signed..."

Neither of my posts in this thread mentions the "presence" of radon gas.
