I generally only use artificial sweetener in iced tea, because it dissolves in the tea.

Otherwise, since I don’t and have never had much of a sweet tooth, I do t worry about the sugar.

The problem with most of the Stevia on the market are the fillers. That is what is sold in the supermarkets.

Get the pure stuff, it's expensive but well worth it. A tiny little bit goes a long way.

This is what I buy. I highly recommend it. It's even good for baking. I buy the 1lb which lasts me about 8 months. I mainly use it for tea and coffee, sauces or recipes.

I use monk fruit mostly, and stevia, both blended with erythritol. As a diabetic, sucralose and other artificial sweeteners don't work safely -- they also tend to taste like metal to me.

Mom and Sister get upset stomachs when erythritol is present, so when they visit, I have pure monk fruit or stevia available.

I’m like this too. I routinely reduce the amount of sugar in baking. If we had diabetes, I might try some sugar substitutes, but since we don’t, I see no need for it. Natural is better.

I use Monk sugar & erythritol mix. I have both regular and powdered, and just made sugar free cheesecake last night. You can bake with it too, you can't with some sugar substitutes. I never liked other sweeteners as they tasted funny to me.

I use something called Pyure, a blend of stevia and erythritol. It's granulated like sugar, and the aftertaste is kinda vanilla-ish.

I have been using Monkfruit sweetener instead of sugar since being diagnosed with type 2. It's natural, and actually sweeter than sugar, without any side effects.

I avoid adding sugar or substitutes whenever I can to food. Yes, sometimes it is bland, but I can deal with it.

I consult a nutritionist. She would rather have me use sugar than a chemical substitute. I’m not a soda drinker, but obviously if someone is, they will want to avoid the calories in sugar. My dh has aspertame in his coffee every day, and if I ever have Coke or Pepsi, I have Zero, which I think is aspertame also.
Neither of us likes the aftertaste of anything else.
