I've never seen it in a bottle or can, but I make my own regularly. (More often with poblano peppers.) Think if it like any other cream sauce.

Use it as a sauce on grilled chicken. Shrimp with rice or pasta. Omelettes. As a sauce for fish (not salmon. Take my word for it.) Pork chops, or use it as a base for pork stew. Nachos. Mashed or baked potatoes. Hell, I'd put the stuff on vanilla ice cream.

PS - I make cream of roasted poblano soup quite often. I don't know if something like that would work with hatch chile.

Is this the stuff you have? If so, I would delete MANY of my suggestiins. The coconut milk in this changes everything.

Make a dip out of the sauce by mixing in fresh pico de gallo.

Then skillet up some quesadillas (maybe add some hamburger with taco seasoning) - dip away!

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up just using it on homemade beef tacos and it was a delicious compliment. Really added a nice dimension.
