I used to get these peanut butter malts at a place near my ex-job. I've been dreaming about them for approximately 35 years. (It was too long of a haul to drive there after I no longer worked there.) I'm always lamenting the fact that most places only sell shakes, not malts. So I just recently bought some malted milk powder (non-diastatic) and winged making one. It turned out ---> .

I had read reviews of the product and someone mentioned mixing it with cocoa powder to simulate the flavor of malted milk balls, so I took some vanilla ice cream and added those other two ingredients. It turned out ---> .

So I'm hoping for suggestions and/or recipes if you feel like giving them. I read that it's used in baking a lot; cookies, etc.

Thanks!

You made me crave a chocolate malted milk shake. It's been years! I'm going to check into the powder.

Oh man, I've been buying malted milk powder for decades! I don't really cook with it but a tablespoon or two in a nice cold glass of milk sure makes a yummy treat on a hot summer day!

I have no idea why I waited so long. I do that sometimes, having favorites at a restaurant or wherever without it occurring to me that I could make it myself, even though I like to cook. It's just certain dishes. I can't think of an example right now.

I still want to try that. I have been mixing it with just vanilla ice cream.

Omg, lol.

I've been thinking chocolate chip cookies, or blondies which I have yet to make for the first time.

I didn't really expect to get a ton of responses to this thread, so I especially thank you for your suggestions.
