My signature dish is the meal I eat at the restaurant and for which I sign the credit card slip. ;-)

Green salad. I make a green salad tossed with my vinaigrette (sort of) dressing. It’s kinda famous in my family.

Also, I make a killer salsa, but I call it bruschetta. Fresh chopped tomatoes, jalapenos, onions, garlic, olive oil, a dash or two of red wine vinegar, fresh basil. I serve it with thinly sliced french bread baguettes, lightly toasted with olive oil, garlic powder, salt & pepper, a little oregano, parsley.

I love, love, love to hear someone admit their cooking is good! Why not? The restaurants do it all the time.

It used to be stuffed manicotti.

Now it's a nice hot cup of tea.

Macaroni salad. I've only ever liked MY macaroni salad and it's the only one my adult kids like as well. My daughter calls me at least once a year to check the ingredients because she can't manage to save a recipe. If anyone ever asks me to bring a dish this is what I bring.

Meatloaf - everybody loves my special meatloaf, even people who say they don't care for meatloaf love mine. It's a secret concoction I put together that just worked to give me a moist, flavorful meatloaf.

I make a pretty mean pot of chili (my definition of chili anyway). Cheap, delicious and feeds me for a few days.

Rare tuna with salty-boiled leeks. Over a bit of greens. Got the recipe from the late great Charlie Trotter.
