The little boosters that you may give yourself to gain the heart of someone.

Like saying:
"I can cook" when you really can barely work out microwavables
"I'm so romantic" when you think dinner and a movie is the ultimate date
"I'm very honest" when you'd say a lie quickly if it got you want you wanted
"I've never done this before" .... yeahhh
etc

Have any of your or your SO's fibs ever come to light and how did it affect your relationship?
I used to detune the engine a little when I was younger and naive. I refuse to do it now! "What are all these tools and stuff for"? Ummm.... I collect them!LMAO....... Today..... They are mine, wanna see what I am capable of? If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen!

Hmmm....

That is cooking to most guys. And besides, just because they 'can cook' doesn't mean they do it well or often.

What annoys me is when I am perfectly up front about something in the beginning, such as "I like to have time to myself and I can't stand clingy guys". And the guy is like "oh that's perfect because I can't stand clingy people and need time to myself too."
Then the next thing you know he is complaining because I want to spend an evening curled up with a good book - alone - instead of hanging on him 24/7.
me: "I *told* you I like my 'me time'
him: Well I didn't think you really meant it!

That is all the more reasons you gals should look for a manly man! If he is working on a car or something and you could care less, bingo, there ya go! Alone time! Think it over a little next time!
