It was just 14 min past midnight when she posted, so technically it is Sep 3 there.

Welcome! What can we call you? I can't even pretend to try to pronounce your handle.

The news reports look ominous.
All is well here. Earl stayed east, and fizzled a bit, so nothing but a bit of wind and rain. We have a 2 hour delay for work this morning, so I'm just getting ready to head out.

Typical male.... Fizzled out, nothing but a big wind and made you 2 hours late for work. Didn't even cook you breakfast the next morning.

Throw in a Chocolate shake and it's the best late night meal for those who've stayed out late and partied too hard.

Keel me now.

I got NO sleep last night, I have to work 11 hours straight, and right after work (not even going home!) I'm leaving on a 650 mile solo road trip.

Who's got the caffeine this morning?!

Oh my gosh! Please be careful. Driving when drowsy is very dangerous. Can you catch a catnap today in your car? Or take a short one before you go?

I wish, but the traffic leaving Phoenix is going to be brutal, so the sooner I hit the road, the better.

I might sneak off to the conference room for a 5 minute nap at some point, but my partner in crime has the day off--hence the 11 hour shift with no breaks.

Why didn't you get any sleep last night darlin' ?

Please, get some rest before driving 650 miles, even if it is stopping in a rest area. But lock your car doors. Or stop for rest in a casino parking lot.

Please be Careful. It's tooo Dangerous driving with NO REst.
