Hawk, I thought I'd move our conversation about fine gourmet guy dining over here.
I do admit, occasionally Taco Bell hits the spot. Had their Mexican Pizza just last night. Is it a sin to admit we like this kind of food or just make us more "Manly" ? Almost anything you can eat with just your fingers should be considered good guy food.
Bro, sometimes i like to stop at the Bell I've thought the beefy tostada's were tasty. Most don't have them anymore here. I like a combination burrito. I like the breakfast burritos at McDonalds, with some Picante sauce.
This is a 13 yr old car, while it has been maintained impeccably, I've got all of the receipts of the work from the previous owner. Heck, its got 50k on it and you'd never know it, the interior looks brand new, I've had people comment on it.
Things fail, its about the age where things like water pumps, timing belts, trannys start to go.
But heck, I got it for a fabulous price.
Free.
Maybe your car needs those things Bro.
One of my pickups i drive is a lifted 4x4 1988 Chev S-10, auto, 4.3l V-6 engine. 160k on the clock. I myself crawl under & change the oil, filter, lube her every 3000 mile. Every two years i drain antifreeze & put in new 50/50 with water. I've never had an engine, tranny, differential, coolng system problema with my truck. Awhile back i put on a new belt & a new battery.
I just don't trust everything a dealership or a garage tells me about a vehicle. They have lied to me before.
Sometimes the boys just like to get together and do some male bonding, talk trash, cars, beer, all the women they've conquered
