this woman started at my job about 3 weeks ago and tonight she asked me "do you have a girlfriend" We were all sitting around laughing and talking about the relationship of one coworker and then the woman asked me did I have one
Is that because she wants to know for her or someone else? I mean that's not like asing someone-"do you like italian foo?
Or maybe she's just trying to learn more about you for it's own sake. Not every question has an agenda behind it.
Throw her a paper airplane and have her circle yes or no whether she likes you more than a friend. Maybe at lunch you can give her your snackpack as a nice gesture, too.
Important note: it's gotta be Jello brand pudding! That Hunts sh*t is nasty!
- She may have a friend for whom you'd "just be perfect" in which case that friend will "have a wonderful personality" but quite possibly look like a CGI cast member from Lord of the Rings. If you're LUCKY she'll look like one of those tree guys, if not, then one of the hyaena things the bad guys rode.
Thanks for not sticking to "jokes aside". I'm loling all over the place in this thread!

An asinine comment you made about the coworker's relationship probably made her suspicious, then your answer confirmed it.
I suspect she might want to know for herself, or someome she knows. If she has the hots for you, she would want to know if you are available.
