Men (and women) referring to women as "females" is de-humanizing.
Its sad that some women aren't aware or educated enough to even be offended by this. They have been conditioned (through the widely accepted usage) to believe that there isn't anything wrong with being classified like an animal. Its a sign of the lack of self-respect to far too many young women have today.

It's funny that you find the use of the word female towards women as de-humanizing all the while implying that women who don't get offended by it's use are ignorant and/or uneducated.

Sure. I still like to think we're at least a teeny-tiny bit more evolved than animals.
