I hadn't thought of it til she was gone. She did ask a great deal about where I was going and what I was doing and I think she was wondering if I would be with someone but didn't ask that specifically. As to whether she could go I have no idea. Money might be a problem for her. I think she only makes 70, 80 a year and she has a condo that I know of and may have car payments and such. I could pay her way easily but I'm not really into paying for her entire life. Plus she has that life already, job and all that. You cant really expect someone to drop their entire life to go off traveling. We are not a couple and I was very clear on that and everything else but I think she may be harboring ideas about what she wants. The whole thing is a mess. Life is so much easier without women but it would totally suck too....
Thanks girl...I'm from it's neighbor Ukraine...but have lots of Russian friends and do take it personal.
I have no idea when I'm going to learn not to.
Taken from the "Italian Job" (not sure of the exactness)
"There are 3 things I don't mess with; God, mothers, and pissed off Ukrainians."

I went over to Russia to train them to fish King Crab in the early nineties. That was out in Magidan, went to Petro, and Vladivostok (spelling?) also over that time. Easily some of the friendliest people I ever met. I was invited into peoples homes, they wanted to feed me, etc. More telling is that these same people that wanted to feed me were themselves starving but willing to share what little they had. I still talk to a number of the people I met to this day and have an open invite to come over. I have had several of them over to visit me over the years.
I always thought you were a good poster and you're good with me.

You have no idea how much I appreciate this post. This reminds me of Russian hospitality when people invite you into your home and make you a part of their family, even just for one evening.
Thank you.
Aaaww, the poor lil' teeny weenie Tootsie Rolls resorted to repping me for providing proof for the "generalizations" and the "unfair and biased opinions."
