as a kid in his 20s, i could get by with occasional girlfriends (once a year or so) and the usual daily dose of porn. i am now 38 and i need the touch taste and voice of a woman. that and knowing that i am with a woman. that consciousness really helps out a lot. i can't take those shortcuts that my body and mind could in my 20s (and teens as well of course). funny thing is when i was traveling and had no access to a girl, i was about to check myself into a hospital because i was going nuts (this was within 3 weeks). some people can go without sex and intimacy but i can't handle it. it affects me in a terrible way.
I'll be the first to stand here and absolutely admit that I am as sexual as they come and go absolutely apesh*t if I don't have sex AT LEAST 2-3 times a month (even though I can have much more). I'm not a nasty pervert, or fiend by any means. However, I LOVE sex. I love the intimacy, the passion, the body heat, the moans, screams, sounds, feel, touch, progression, transitions, emotions, heavy breathing, pace of sex. Sex to me (as a male) is much more than just "busting a nut". As a young male, I have an outrageous sex drive and just crave sex. It never comes to the point where I hire a prostitute/escort but its just an event I absolutely need and desire in my life. Besides it being human nature, I can't explain it. When I have sex (especially awesome sex) I feel relaxed, peaceful, and like I released all those raging hormones and my mini-me's that have been dying to come out.
Sex is like an opinion - I don't care if you have, its only mine that counts. Actually I don't think great sexual experience can be physical alone. Its all between two ears and expeessed in words that are never spoken.
I found that there is a direct relationship between the amount of crazy that a woman has in her and how good the sex is. I can only stand so much crazy in a woman though, its all about finding that balance. The best partner I ever had was like crack to me in the bedroom, it was awesome. every. time. This was easily a 6-8 times a week type of girl too. All that said, she was batpoop crazy outside the bedroom. The final straw was when she pointed a gun at me.

I have to agree with you on that. I was in a relationship with a woman for a year and half, and she had an extremely high sex drive. One of the things she stated was that she needed sex twice a day, every day. Sounds great in theory, but eventually difficult for me to keep up as I work rotating shifts. She was definitely unstable, she did some pretty crazy things, but the sex was definitely off the charts. We eventually broke up (she did with me). Long story short she got pregnant and had a miscarriage and things were just not the same after that. I doubt I'll ever find a woman as uninhibited as her.
I think sex is important, but I do think other aspects of a relationship are as if not more important. An emotional connection is extremely important to me. The best sex I had was with a woman I was in a relationship with in my early 30's. Her sex drive was really (and I mean REALLY) high. The sex was amazing, but I also was deeply in love with her and actually was planning on proposing to her. That all came crashing down though, and in the end might have been for the better as she was pretty unstable. Longest dry spell? Probably six months or so.
dr. evil: nope, not for me. i once dated a girl in college who was completely nuts and she was TERRIBLE in bed. that's the only girl i had sex with (intercourse) and did NOT finish! yes, the only time in my life when the sex was so bad that i pulled out and just stopped.

The "crazy equals hotter sex" thing is a myth. It's one of those things where crazy girls are more likely to be promiscuous and uninformed men mistake that for skill.
