A college degree does not make someone "better" but (depending upon the college/university and course of study) the person has a broader perspective in general.

Not to mention all the people you meet because sometimes it not what you know buy who you know in life. Going to college you could meet people you meet people you never would of meet if you did not go to college.

So very true. Where else would kids from the projects or a working class background be in the same circles as kids who attended Swiss boarding schools? A college education is a great equalizer for those with intellect but few assets/family connections.

There are chicks that have a uniform fetish ya know. You just have to find one. Try online. You'll certainly have no problem finding something flattering to wear on that first date.

It is not worth it to move up and a did the math I would have to give the company every thing . I am not going to work 6 days a week 14-16 hour days. I would have a life and get out do stuff.

On top of that I been offered a promotion and I turned it down it did go over well I told them just because it is good does not mean it is good for you.

I just did not want to be stuck at a job I hate. Sure the money would be nice but it at the end of the day you hate your job.

Elitist disgusting behavior to turn someone down because they don't have a degree.

Plenty of people are intelligent and can be well read and not have a college degree.

Man... when will these "smart" people with degrees figure that out.

Some jobs you have to have a degree but there a ton of degrees that are pointless.

Woman seem to care more if a guy was a degree or not. It is kind of shallow but if that what they look for that what they look for. I do however do not get if a woman does not have a degree she should not make it a requirement .

People are far far more than the college they attended... intelligence goes far and beyond what someone was able to memorize and regurgitate back onto a test form.

Some of the brightest guys I've known either had no degrees or just a low level AA type degree or trade schools.

Yes, a lot of jobs need a degree, I was just a little miffed at the snobbery some people have about degrees.

All a degree tells me is that they were able to attend class and pass tests... doesn't mean jack shyt about life and the real world.

I say this from a perspective of highly respecting education. I don't respect the snotty behavior that some have toward higher education, like they are better than someone who doesn't have higher education.

I personally find snobby behavior to be abhorrent........major pet peeve of mine.......
