You just wouldn't be with a vegetarian to begin with. Ime, people tend to hang out with likes so intimate paths usually don't cross for it to be an issue.

I trust him. It's not about food, but ethics and compassion.
So in your mind it is okay to kill a fish but not to choke a chicken on the basis of eithics? What makes the fish somehow below a cow?

And this kill on a cow or a pig is humane, as humane can be. It is instant without any struggle of suffering.

Following your logic you have no problems killing a cockroach or swatting a fly?

I have mixed views about eating meat... part of me has no problem.... man is a carnivore... just look at the fact that we have canine type teeth, prehistoric man hunted animals.

I think if it is done humanely... as much as possible... quick death...treated respectfully... IDK.

But then the Buddhist teachings sorta come out... IDK.

I are cornfused....

I want some too. Wait, what about the feelings of the barley, the yeast, popcorn's feelings too. Think of the heat and pressure that cause that explosion, we don't give a second thought to the kernal of corn.

Considering we have been eating critters since before the discovery of fire it makes for an interesting relationship.
