When I have been in the USA, I have been the pursuer and it was enjoyful. The excitement of wondering if she liked me or not and see the progress. I have been pursued when I lived in Japan and it was exciting as well to know someone valued me enough to do something about it. I prefer mutual pursuing. We get to enjoy both: being the pursuer/pursuee.

I've been both (it depends on the case), but I'm more comfortable when I'm pursued. If someone I like decides to pursue, I'll gladly play the game. If someone I like doesn't do anything but I suspect that there's a chance there, I'll be the pursuer but I'd rather merely hint the other person that I'm available for them to make a decisive move lol.

I always offer to pay half of whatever we had, but I won't insist if the other person wants to pay for both of us. I'll do the same some other day.
