That's so funny. Our "girl" dog does the same when I return home. Well, not as jumpy, but let me tell you...she really wants to lick my face. I just tell her, "get baby," and she grabs a chew toy to play with, leaving my face alone.
I know a 120 pound large female Rottie that does something similar to me. She will leap into my lap and sit there. She slurps my face and cries out to make sure I am paying attention. After she is done slurping my face, she nibbles on my ear. She then puts her head down on my shoulder and stares me in the eyes. Some MAN has to be able to tame that beast of a woman. It might as well be me.
