They'll never get it, dude. I tell ya, normal people are at a great minority as opposed to the modern, corrupted, mainstream folks.
Luckily, there's a hand few of real, genuine women who understand normal men.
You and Robert are certainly on the same wavelength. There's no doubt you guys have everything in common and most likely you will find women who mirror you. There's someone for everybody out there. Just keep the faith. It's past my bed time, I'll leave the fun filled stereotyping for tomorrow.
I think it's funny that you seem to be trying to engage in some sort of contest with me about who is the more well travelled!
Oh no! I've been all over the place - it doesn't make me better than anyone else - just a bit luckier.
My point is that I still don't see why you felt the need to start this thread.
Get over it! Not all earthy people are rude. Not all earthy people are uneducated. Not all earthy people are like the few earthy people that seem to have ruffled your feathers so much.
No. You won on the travel thing hands down. I wouldn't go to mainland China.
And no one said the "earthy" are uneducated. They are typically educated. That's what makes them question things which, I suppose, is good. Anthropology seems to be a popular major. As for cars, the Subaru connection is well established. That was last night's entertainment, courtesy of Google. The number of hits was astounding.
I started this thread to see if the men on the board preferred "traditional" women, and we don't need to define that at this point.
The thread became lively when the indignant attitude about stereotyping reared its ugly head, and people had to list where and how they ascribed to "earthiness" ... and provide pictures of "how can you resist THIS?"

Psychology Today doesn't count? Time and US News don't count? I'm not talking Reader's Digest.
Then link it. I won't take you at your word. Sorry.

I've only seen a few episodes of "Dharma and Greg," "Sex and the City," and even "Seinfeld," because friends were watching them. I've never watched a single episode of "Friends." I usually watch the news, travel documentaries, Discovery Channel or History Channel. I enjoy movies which deal with the human condition and interesting characters, like "Sideways" (a few Oscar nods) and like foreign films....if they don't deal with the human condition, then what does?
I'm sorry again. Your interpretation of something you watched on the TV doesn't pass for an analysis with merit. Have you mainstream Americans really gotten this lazy?

What a slight...not medicine and not dentistry (true) and not high-powered law...I guess that would relegate someone to being an ambulance chaser?
I think everything's been settled at this point. Most of us can't agree on what "earthy" means, and some of us like it and some of us don't. Some of us like different definitions of it, some of us like all definitions of it, and some of us don't like any of the definitions. We've also established what kind of car an earthy woman drives, but not always.

And we have Google to thank for that.
