Oh yeah, "nice guys" throw up gang signals all the time
Actually, some do. Crazy kids who want to look cool use gang signals, Tibetan reincarnate lamas who bust out of the monastery do rap and gang signals, it's the cool thing to do worldwide, unbelievably enough. How do you know those guys aren't just doing that for the camera? We don't know anything about those guys. Why are we assuming they're gang-bangers--because they're black?

Whatever they are, the use of gang signals signifies one thing, a fool. Regarding monks, rap, and gang signals- I don't believe it. You'll have to prove that one.

I don't know about other parts of the world, but in America when you throw up gang signs and wear the colors, you are either in a gang or glorifying one.
My comments have nothing to do with the race of the kids in the picture. I personally prefer to assess folks on their ACTIONS, not their skin color.

As a young black guy, I tend to agree. A lot of my friends like to do wannabe gang signs whenever they are taking pictures. They aren't in gangs and don't run with folk who are. Better than the middle fingers (which i display often) I suppose.

If I were your mother, I would caution you that this could be a very dangerous thing to do. Please reconsider this behavior.
And real men with class don't throw up that middle finger either
