Even allowing for the ongoing social stigmatization of men who are gay or bi, and the supposed trendiness of women experimenting with bisexual activity, I think the numbers clearly indicate that women are far more likely to be bi than men. And this is a sex-oriented site, so I would assume that people are more honest than on a dating site or in surveys, because they are actually looking for sexual encounters of the types they list.
I usually 100% agree with you dude, but I think most Male Bisexuality is buried so deep you would not even bring it up on a site, even a dedicated site. You know how woman react to making it with a Bisexual man from the reaction here and on other forums..They would rather date a one-legged troll who hasn't bathed in a month. I think images of Down Low men are dancing through there heads when the topic comes up.

Your boyfriend can tell if other guys are generally good looking or not. If he's not stupid and if he tries. We all can. But that's not the same as being physically attracted. He's just afraid of even potentially being thought of as bi or homosexual. A lot of us are. But yeah, it's not hard to tell if somebody is acne-ridden or odd looking (ugly) or if they are decent looking or very masculine (square jaw, etc.). Or whether they're fat or stick thin, average or have an athletic build. Quite frankly, we (men) can tell if other men are soft looking or intimidating. And I know that some women (and gay dudes) think intimidating (hard) looking men are sexy. And then there are gay dudes (and maybe a few women) who think soft looking guys are sexy (which I don't understand, must be either a very masculine-minded and/or insecure gay dude or a pedophile-ish dude, or woman with psych/dominance issues).

Who said anything about sex? I am simply saying that seeing two women kissing on the cheek, walking around holding hands or hugging is much more socially acceptable than seeing two men doing the same. No?
The topic is women being bisexual. You stated women are naturally bisexual. This denotes sex.

Quote:
You see mothers walking around the mall holding hands with their 15 years old daughters while you dont see fathers doing the same with their sons. Women seem to crave physical contact regardless of gender context while men don't and socials norms simply reflect that.
I have never seen that.

Quote:
I am not really sure if it is a genetic disposition in the first place. Has the actual "homosexuality gene" or sequence of genes been identified yet?

Then dont say bisexuality is natural in women.

Quote:
That's what I said, dear Watson: both women and men masturbate but women are more likely to use vibrators or other sexual toys.
Sexual toys take sexual experience out of the gender context: vibrators are neither male or female.
Yes and men are likely to use their hand. This may have something to do with the design of our genitalia.
And I beg to differ. My vibrator is male.

Quote:
Just because women can take sexual acts out of gender context while men in normal circumstances can't, I believe it would be more likely and natural for a "straight" women to enjoy oral sex from another women that it would be for a "straight" man to enjoy oral sex from another man. Sex is simply much more abstract act for women that it is for men.
What?
Women can take sexual acts out of gender context and men cant. Please elaborate.

I don’t know how you would measure these other statements, but I dare say it appears that a good many men don’t really care who or what is performing oral sex on them. Both those statements are pretty far out there. Im still trying to understand the sex being abstract for women. Or just sex being abstract in general.

Quote:
Maybe you don't but many women I spoke to, (I date a lot) admitted to at least one sexual experiment with a girlfriend while staying "straight" afterwards.
It seems that women are much more flexible in their sexuality while much more in need of physical contact and affection then men. Women seem to be more of sexual opportunists: man, vibrator or a close girlfriend if need be.
Naw, they were just talking dirty to you. Your imagination is impressive.

If you think about it society has always been very lenient when it comes to girls behavior: girls are allowed sleepovers with girlfriends, pyjama parties and generally being affectionate towards other women while boys not so much. Why do you think it happens?
Guys are allowed sleepovers they call it camping. Why would little girls not be allowed sleepovers. This usually occurs pre teen. Me thinks you are confused.

Do you have a reading comprehension problem? I simply noted women hold hands and hug in public while men don't. Where is the connection to sex?

I have never seen that.
I am not surprised, I have seen this scene in every suburban mall.

Why not? Where is the logical connection here?

Women use their hands and fingers too yet they are much more likely to use other toys as well. Men not so much.

Did you ask HER opinion? I really don't think an electric device can be male or female.

What?
Women can take sexual acts out of gender context and men cant. Please elaborate.
Vibrator is neither feminine or masculine. It's a device. It has no gender. Vibrators and other electric toys are more popular amongst women hence my claim that for women sexual pleasure is more abstract and does not have to be in context of gender.
For men, in normal situations, it is always in context of gender. Its never an abstract pleasure.

Nah. They all admitted to it but I am not saying they were proud or bragged about it.
Each girl admitted at least one girl-on-girl experience in their lifetime. Maybe you haven't had one but it does not mean that that's a norm.

What about pyjama parties. Do boys have those too?

You don't hear about women engaging in this behavior because women feel they don't have to hide it. Many men feel embarassed or ashamed, especially men in high profile positions. You can't assume that men experiment with the same sex more than women do. You're basing your assumption simply because you found an article about it.
I understand what nyanna is saying. First of all, she's rarely going to get a straight guy to admit he's done this with other guys. I had a few actually me -- but they were online. LOL. She is right it is very very common in teen boys to masturbate together and/or watch porn. I don't know about the 'more or less' part of it, very hard to determine b/c again majority of straight men aren't going to openly admit this.

Personally I think a lot of straight men are intimidated by bisexual women (I notice these threads popping up about bisexual women and they're usually not portrayed in the best light -- yet those same males like to watch lesbo porn or whatever ).

Or in their room, using a sock. Two men have told me that they did that as teenagers.

(Am I violating the PG-13 rule here? Or is that just about the right age for this post?)

homosexual experiences are somewhat higher than men.
but we ignore female divergence from the norm for the most part.
we are a nation obsessed with focus on archie bunker. pretty much consider behavior of all others not of consquence. 35.5% of the population is wasp male, the rest of behavior get ignored.

Yeah, right. Its name is Henry. Does that sound "genderless" to you? Huh.
