But that doesn't mean she will take him. I don't know why many men think women are seeking to date older. I'm not, and most women I know aren't. If they meet an older guy then fine but from talking to a lot of younger women they cringe when older men contact them online and so did I when a much older man contacted me.
10 or 12 is a lot older at age 18. It's not that much older at your age. But everybody has different preferences.
That reminds me of the old commercial for e-Trade, where this buff young guy was jumping on a trampoline in this mansion. Next thing you hear is the voice of an old lady calling him. Once he got there, she told him that her bunions needed a massage ... with his face cringing as he's removing her socks.
Some young guys might like bunions! Bunions rhymes with "Funyuns" and anything that rhymes with Funyuns can't be all that bad, right?

But the age difference can make a difference. I never said that people with age differences shouldn't date but rather when men intentionally seek women 10+ years younger is where the issue is. A 50 year old man who happens to meet a 40 year old woman is a different situation where a 50 year old man refuses to date 50 year old women and will only date women 40 years old for example or even younger (and I see it much younger than that often).

I'd like to know that too. It's very pathetic when I see these men trying to date much younger women and I want to ask them if they can still get it up.
