Strippers can make a lot of money, sure, but once they hit their late 20s or early thirties they face some pretty tough competition with the young ones in their primes. I remember an HBO documentary about how it is for women in that industry and how tough it gets once they are passed their prime. Smart strippers who make a lot of money may think of investing, saving for an education/degree, etc.
This thread is funny. I wouldn't look down on strippers. There aren't many other people in their early 20's who can pull in 6 figures.
That said, I don't know many people how have dated strippers and none who have married any. The thread makes it seem like this is common place.
Nobody should be looking down on the stripper or the guy who married the stripper. He didn't have kids. His relationship at home isn't working out and obviously since he and the stripper are having kids its a serious relationship.
Finally, almost every man you know would take that job. Any guy presented with the idea that you can make $1000 a night by having women watch you take your clothes off would go for it. In fact, you could go on craigslist right now and say that you want men to send you pictures of their junk. You'd probably get hundreds of responses....and that's for free.
Actually, he has kids with the ex..
But guess he doesn't mind them looking up to her or whatever..
To be clear, I don't knock a females's hussle.. I simply just don't understand why a man would want to marry someone who walks around naked for *maybe* a hundred dollars or more per night..

What kind of stripper are you talking about?? A toothless trailer park one???
You obviously have no idea of what an attractive, intelligent dancer can really make a night..I never walked with less than $500 a night and more than half of those times, I didn't even have take my clothes off. Just well off men who wanted nothing more than drinks and a conversation. You'd be very very surprised at how many men are ignored at home for the simplest things...
@himain- I guess such hostility hit a button? Never said she was a crack ***** or whatever and by all means, validate and defend your profession.. Not knocking you at all.. That's great you make $500 a night but I personally know she makes no more than $200 on a good night.. Came right out her own mouth..
Of course men go to strip clubs for many reasons, including attention and conversation they are not getting at home.. That's not my confusion..
I'm confused as to how he bashed his ex for even wearing a tight dress but doesn't mind being in a relationship with a stripper? You can say what you want but stripping is not a normal profession.. Getting naked and bemding over for pics or having people bite your ass (talking about her) is something I don't see as marriage/ling term relationship material..
That's great you make that amount of money. But my question is if a man would marry a stripper.. Not if she makes money or not..

It has nothing to do with hitting a button. People stereotype. I know lots of doctors, teachers and public people who have done and continue to do a lot worse than I have ever done being a dancer.. And if she isn't making more than $200 a night and allowing people to take pictures and bite her ass, then somethings very wrong there..
Escort can be defined in two different ways---Escort as in arm candy or the nice term to a W
or a Ford
