I don't think the doctor mystique helps that much, nor does the decent salary. Women are more career-oriented these days. Being a doctor is barely a foot in the door for a date.

Not attacking you just saying....... man up and forget about the short dude thing, I've known some really tough SOB's that were on the short side.... put the fear of god in ya..... I'm not that tall myself.. only about 5'8" or maybe 5' 9" depending on my socks that day......
Mature age losers who can't get laid or sustain a relationship have been around for millions of years. We are simply media-saturated these days so it appears more prevalent.

unfortunately that kind of attitude towards the situation is akin to how most other adults feel about it. which is why i LOL when people say 'oh nobody cares about that!' and 'just be yourself!' lies.
Honestly, if you can't be confident in yourself and your choices, there's little hope for you.
i don't see what being 'confident' has to do with anything. you either accept this as your situation or you don't, either way 'confidence' isn't going to change anyone else's perception about these things.

If you can't get laid by the time you're 40 then I think loser is an appropriate descriptive word. I know lots of older people, being older myself. None of them have had major problems getting laid. Some of them suck at relationships but that's a whole 'nother story.
