But after reading the whole thing, I get where you're coming from. I do not share the same attitude in every respect, but I get what you're saying about the realization. I just turned 45 and I'm happily married. I have ZERO desire to seek anyone out, but isn't it nice to be noticed? Isn't it nice to have some validation from other people?
I don't think I'm at your level of seeking it out or feeling too "down" about it, but yea, I totally get that "slap" in the face when you realize that while you may FEEL 21, you don't LOOK/ACT 21. It's a weird rite of passage for aging, I guess.

Yeah, my wife is definitely hot. She keeps herself in great shape. In fact she's been a fulltime Pilates instructor for over 10 years. She's into aerobics, and light weightlifting. And she does tell me how good looking she thinks I am - she's not letting me down in that regard.
But she gets hit on every day. She complains about it, but I can tell she's happy she's still "got it".
It's not a dating website. It's an activity website, where women hunt for their men in absolute frenzy. It's a fine place for our man to get all the compliments and acceptance he's looking for from random women. He can even take his wife and the wife may see how much her husband's worth on the market so she will up her wife activities to his satisfaction and also be thankful about how lucky and blessed she is.

And yeah, I don't exactly have that "problem" of being hit on but I know she must like the attention to some degree. That's just it: we all have to come to terms with aging in our own way. A little attention from the opposite sex is nice...
To me it seems subjective from people who tell me how old they think I am. I have been told by some women they thought I was in my early to mid thirties. The one married woman who hit on me at the bar I spoke of in the swingers thread said I looked around 40 to her, she is in her low 50's.
One thing is for sure if I didn't dye my hair and didn't shave my face I'd look a lot older. My opinion is I'd be more concerned with being attractive to women in general than trying to be attractive to women half my age.

Does my doc know? No. He'll freak out. Do I know what the long-term effects are. Not really. No research has been done on long term use of steroids. All we have is anecdotal evidence. I did look into that as much as I could. I found that the people who had medical issues later in life seemed to be those that were "on" for years, sometimes decades without stopping and who led otherwise fairly unhealthy lifestyles. Weighing 270 lbs all the time isn't good for the heart even if most of that is muscle.

Shes still pretty but does look her age or older in my opinion. She has the thinning skin look that goes with the hollywood 'thin' diet, beside it always seems like you age quicker when you marry an older person. Look at Heffs exes, they all look 10 or 15 years older then they are. He must suck the life out of them
