I tried to send messages today and I was informed my mailbox is full and that if I want to send more I have to purchase a $3.00 membership. So a site that was free the past 12 months is now asking for a fee. I wonder is this only for the men?

In recent threads you've been carping no end about how awful all the women are on these dating sites so I don't really understand why you have a problem. THREE DOLLARS? Why don't you just empty out your full mailbox. The reason you're being charged is for extra mailbox space not because the site is not now free. Doh.

I don't know what you mean by mailbox space. I deleted all the messages I had in my inbox or maybe I missing something.

Your mailbox being emptied may take a while to register on the computer.

PS: It took me two seconds on a google to discover that OKCupid has a general forum where this has apparently been discussed many, many times.

I've long held the theory that OKC was free b/c they were using it to conduct social research w/o having to pay the "volunteers." At least they shared the results of some of their research, and one article was about how free dating sites are better. Hmmm.

This is just the beginning, all of your free rides are about to end.

According to you that's been your standard for a long time now. You said just yesterday that you have an ad currently running on there ...
