There is a lot mentally that can affect a man's performance. I met a man that was so wound up about sex that they couldn't get it up. Once I convinced them to relax and that he needed to not make such a big deal of it he was fine. I think anyone can mentally sabotage themselves if they are not careful.
why would someone lose it late? There are a number of reasons. ONE reason would be not having the best social life, another would be a low drive to try to lose it - both of these could be caused by low hormones. But you could also have a bad social life because you got messed up socially a bit from life experiences. Hell, there's also just ugly people.
I'm in the never had a good social life category because I had gotten messed up socially by experiences and eccentric family. Still haven't had that much sex, but from what I can tell by myself, I don't got no problem, never really did. Actually I have quite the drive.
