How is it any crazier than burning the lining of the uterus, shoving a piece of copper into the uterus, implating a tiny rod in the arm or having a plastic ring in the vagina 3 weeks out of the month??? LOL

I agree with you there. And while I entirely understand the primary reason to take the pill, I think the idea of being on it for years is also a little bit crazy, given the potential side effects one can experience.

I wonder if guys know that even if this pill is approved, it's not a miracle solution.

If it is like the current pill for women, you have to take it on a regular (strict) schedule and there are things you have to avoid, or at least be mindful of (alcohol intake/meds), while you're on it.

Don't know if I could trust a guy to do all that.

Are you a real person or some kind of mutant clown?

fify. unless the rate turns out to be particularly high, it will not be a weakness particular to this type of BC

agreed combining methods is sometimes the most appropriate choice

Don't go to that blog. The comments alone will make you want to soak your brain in bleach.

I feel bad for these dudes who really, honestly believe that women are their enemy. Women are out to trap them with pregnancies and marriage, and men who actually get along with women are traitors. What an awesome way to go through life.

don't really agree on the tone here. plenty of women are retarded when it comes to BC as well

also, would you trust a man who couldn't take a pill every day to properly put on a condom while fumbling around in the dark after two margaritas?

any intelligent straight man has already considered the same things you list here as they apply to his partners and female birth control.

there's a nice middle ground between naivety and the "derp derp women are out to trick me into inseminating them" nonsense that is floating around in this thread
