Fifteen minutes to install a pull-out shelf my ass! An hour and a half later I finally get the stupid thing right. Who would have thought a cabinet manfacturer can't make a cabinet square?

LOL, I had a hater a few years ago that took her hate for me to another forum too. She even started a entire thread devoted to just me, which I'm pretty sure was shutdown. I just treat it as a badge of honor.

Man.... I'm wiped out... Been working 12 hr days this week trying to reach a literally impossible deadline, no joke.

I gotta work tommorrow too. I hate working OT....Some people like the money, but to me, you get taxed so damn bad on it, it isn't worth it.....

I detest OT as well, but with these jackasses I work for it usually comes due to tremendous wasting of the first 8 hours.

Yeah they expect me to work it considering I'm salary. It's sort of an un-written rule in our office that you get there around 8AM and you do not leave before 7PM if you want to be taken seriously as being part of the "Team". Then I have to wear a pager one weekend a month, and that thing could off at 2AM The things we do to earn a buck. Seriously would just like to win the lottery, and pay myself to work on my own projects.

And yet people bash unions.
Sheep mentality, I bet if you started checking out at 5 everyday it would be just a matter of time before others started doing the same.
I read a couple of interesting articles that summed up the work attitude in this country: those who work 8+ hours are not necessarily more productive then those who work just 8. Despite the fact we have less vacation time than our European competitors we aren't more productive.
As for that pager: Ooops I have no idea why I didn't get that page!
BTW, they still make those things?!

Yeah and I'm also in one of these companies that we constantly have to have a meeting about everything. We even have meetings to plan meetings. I literally have to stop doing actual work, leave my desk, and go to a meeting just to talk about doing work, about 5 times a day. I frigging hate meetings.

But at the moment I am pretty lucky because they are letting me work from home so I can help with my grandma. So I just have to dial into meetings and then pretend like I'm paying attention.
