I love that stuff. I have a few recipes that I use it for...never had to rinse mine and it always comes out perfect. I don't care much for rice at all and I'll sub quinoa out for it.
I omit the chicken and the olive oil and I add more bell pepper (red, yellow and green). I toss all the veggies in when it's piping hot and they get warm and somewhat softer but not mushy. YUMMY!
The other way is for breakfast. 1 cup quinoa to 2 cups water. Dice an apple and toss it in while it's cooking. Throw in some cinnamon as well. When it's done cooking toss with slivered almonds and if you want some sweetness, add honey or brown sugar. Sometimes I'll throw some 1/2 and 1/2 in..just enough to wet it for a bit more creamy texture but most of the times I go without.
That's what we use too. I actually prefer Chai in the winter. I'm not a huge fan of hot chocolate. I could live the rest of my life without having it and not miss it.
Because you haven't had any worth a crap; it's like saying you don't know what all the rave is about having sex when your experience extends to that of an electric toothbrush or inflatable doll.

No, I've had REAL hot chocolate. I just prefer to EAT my chocolate instead of drink it
Gonna melt some more sugar this weekend, and grind some more nibs. Thinking of trying whole beans but not sure how to roast 'em yet. Still, should be fun.
I have debated about adding sugar, the cream is sweet as is too the chocolate syrup I use. Methinks it would be too sweet.
