I've heard it quite a bit over the last several months. My mom has made all these comments - asking me if I'm going to gay bars when I go out with my friends, asking if I even care about getting a girlfriend (I try to never talk about this issue around my parents because they so desperately want me to find somebody and it's a very depressing conversation). I think she also realizes I've stopped caring about this issue at all.
What do you guys think about this? Is she really serious with her wondering whether or not I'm gay? I should note that I'm not bad looking in the face and I'm an amateur bodybuilder so I've always gotten a lot of gay attention....just never been interested in ****. Should I continue to fiercely defend the fact that I'm straight or will it look like I'm overcompensating?
This is why it's taken me so long to finish my degree. As much as I love my parents I couldn't wait to get a full time job and get out on my own. I'm sure there are stretches where my mom would've wondered about me the same way.
Many people assume a man who does not display all of the alpha traits and is not often seen with women are gay. I got this myself esp at work for a while because I was deemed "quiet and polite" (which I am) and always well groomed (The latter is expected as i work in the hotel industry) and rarely discussed my personal life on the job and was single for a very long time. Not gay, And even if I was or someone is there is nothing wrong with that either.
Go get the cheesiest hooker you can find. Bring her home. After that, and your mom's seizure, ask, how did that work out for you.
LOL. You did not mention to the OP to hide the wallet and lock up all valuables before she comes over.
The Original OP according to his description of himself seems to convey this is a decent looking guy who takes care of himself. I am sure if he makes the circuit he could find company no problem.
