Everyone knows that men do in order to feel more manly and whatnot, but do women do it as well? For example, I dated a girl a couple years ago who was a virgin and told me from the start that she hadn't really gone beyond kissing, but later said something about having been complimented on her blow job skills (she and I never really went beyond kissing either). I know that a lot of girls, including this one, have self-esteem issues and don't like to feel inexperienced any more than us guys do, so is it fair to assume that women often embellish their amount of experience just as much as we do in order to feel more self-confident?

That's what I don't understand about women. They say they're not ashamed of the sexual exploits, but then they turn around and lie about it.
I don't really get it either. Personally, I don't lie about it but I also don't really see the need at this age to discuss it. I haven't slept with an outrageously high number of people either. If someone really wanted to know, I'd tell them, and it'd be the truth.
I know my friend told her husband she's slept with 8 people when it's really at least 4 times that number because he was relatively inexperienced.

But it is certain to be either:
Yes. All women embellish their amount of experience
or
No. No women embellish their amount of experience.
The answer is certainly NOT
Some women embellish their amount of experience and some women do not embellish their amount of experience.
All women are the same. It's not possible for their to be differences between individuals.
