Providing he/she is STD free, does a partner's sexual past influence your decision to stay or break up a relationship?

I'm only bringing this up because there are a few sexual experiences that would definitely make me think twice before committing long-term to a person.

For example the thread about a guy finding out about his girl having multiple encounters with groups of males at once would probably make me end a relationship. Same if she was a previous escort or if she slept with a lot partners before me(i'm talking more than 20+).

What do you think? Any sexual past deal breakers for you? And if that person was uncomfortable talking about it and you found out later, would you still end it?

I dont see any sensible, adult man really asking about a womans sexual past. Best to leave it behind and never really worry about it. With that said, no I would not marry or commit to a **** or a woman who has meupltiple experiences with orgies and things of that sort. You cant turn a ho into a housewife.

it's not an issue if you dont discuss or make it one. i think we all have skeletons in our closets. open it at your own risk.

I had lots of dates and several gf, and it rarely comes up. and if it doesnt, there is at least some white lie involved for both i believe.

If you enjoy the sex you're getting from your significant other, your only concern about her past should be to write a "thank you" note to all her previous lovers. People don't get good at sex by reading about it.

Tough one, especially if you've already fallen in love with that person. I guess, it all depends; if their sexual acts involved being incarcerated. i.e statutory rape, child molestation, prostitution, etc. are deal breakers for me.

Well it's like being gay in the Army isn't it? Don't ask don't tell.

Works for me.

Exactly!

A lack of experience, in sex or in longterm relaionships, is a red flag for me. But so are types of experience that indicate incompatible ethics or values or priorities.

It can be, just depends on the circumstances.

Ie (Club HC)....hoe with the gangbangers and thugs...of which three illegitimate children were conceived.

You used to be a good looking gal and came from a rural family.

What happened to you?

Have you had your shots lately?

No way.......

True story and it very sad.

I was in love with her and was waiting until the right time.

Her birthday is the day before mine and a buddies sister.

I have a question. Ladies if your man slept with a prostitute years ago.... Is the past still "the past and not a big deal"?

Or does this only count with your sexual encounters?
