I was simply stating that the OP shouldn't feel as though shes missing out.
I've read your posts. You don't believe in marriage. You don't believe men and women are meant to be monogamous. I wasn't trying to insult you by any means - I'm sorry if you took offense. From your posts, it sounds like you've never really been in love. Sorry if I'm wrong. You have a very business like approach to dating and relationships - it's just something that I can't relate to at all. And once again - I'm not saying that you are wrong and I am right - just that we are different. So maybe New Year's Eve kisses don't mean anything to you - but they do mean something to me and to many other people.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the OP feeling like she is missing out on something - it gives her something to look forward to in the future. There are lots of things that I want to experience some day that I haven't experienced yet. Someone telling me that they are no big deal is actually more disappointing to me than someone telling me that they are awesome!

It's not really bragging if I haven't been able to repeat it in a long time!

I was just getting ready to suggest kissing one of the cute guys that you have been dancing with all night during a NYE party...

Maybe its just me, but give me a kiss thats unplanned, unexpected, and spontaneous any day over something everyone else is doing because they feel they should.
Wow. I agree with this 100%.

I was just kidding. But at least you could say you've experienced one (or more).

I don't think you are quite grasping the symbolism of NYE of and the New Year.

Hahaha! I know sounds like an options. I don't know, I am little old fashioned that way.

On a date..sure....rando at the club.....maybe on the cheek.

Who know, last year we played board games instead of going out. I was sick. So my friends are ribbing me for it. This year we are going out... oh no! What to wear? And most importantly, what shoes to wear so I am not annoyed at the end of the night.

At the risk of sounding like a complete hussy (hehe), I have to say that the absolute best kisses have been from the "cute guy at the party that I had been dancing with all night" vs the boyfriend kisses.

Hehehe! Maybe by NY Resolution should be to be more adventurous.

P.S. I love the word hussy. It makes me think I need a cigarette case. They were always so glam. I remember as I kid, I wanted to smoke so I could get the case....but then I remembered how much I hated cigarette smoke.
