Children are purely optional and in a world of over population not only is procreation questionable from a standpoint of world population number but it's also considered financially foolish.
My wife and I have been married for 21 years and we are now both in our mid forties, children were never on the table for us because we were fiscally responsible.
If one feels that they MUST have a child instead of a life then please adopt one of the many children here in this country that have been abandoned by someone that thought less about a human life and more about their sexual proclivity.
As you date attempt not to exhibit Neanderthal based breeding instincts and concentrate on your fiscal bottom line and I will guarantee that your available dating pool will expand exponentially.
Considering the human relationships are everytime becoming more dense and less spontaneously to happen on western countries (more so the US, Canada, etc), a large majority of males who wont even have the chance to succeed in the dating scene, which means less couples will be made and therefore less children will be born. I think the overuse of internet and media Influence has ruined everything.
An intriguing hypothesis... I believe it to be rubbish but find it intriguing none the less.
Just because YOU can't get laid doesn't mean the rest of us aren't getting busy!
This is actually misleading. 20% of guys get laid 80% of the time. The vast majority of guys get sex relatively rarely or never at all, at least during their younger years.
Women, of course, can get laid whenever they want. Nothing new there.
