Which generally seems to be the point of the threats praising the foreign women, slamming other women on the way down. The same can be said for many threads talking about individual preferences.
It would never work for me. I would NOT want ties to a country, a culture, an extended family, and an "inherited" group of friends that came with the deal and would not be interesting to me.
Because a lot of the "date foreign women" advice is included in the "bash western women (or any women)" threads. I don't care who anyone dates, but someone with a really negative view of women probably won't have much more luck with someone from another country.
If you want to date foreign women, that's great but it doesn't mean every woman in the USA is the devil.

Let's get real here: 90% of the threads talking about foreign women disparage domestic ones. They're very flouncy: "Nobody here wants me and everyone here is a meanie/gold-digger/brat, so I'm going to go get a foreign woman and YOU'LL BE SORRY!"
Please. If you want a foreign woman, go get one. No one cares. Just don't come back whining when you find out she married you for your money and she's not the subservient little wifey you thought you were getting.

I would never say an American woman was worthless. As for accusing women of being bossy and b*tchy, are you ladies really going to complain about us saying that, after so many of you throw around the "loser" insult left and right to any guy who doesn't meet your standards? Duh, of course a man is going to call you a b*tch after you just called him a loser.
This. The only thing women care about is if men post on forums about their intent to get a foreign woman with an rude put-down of local/regional women, and get all in-your-face about it. How mature is that? What do you expect for a response to that kind of behavior? This is a no-brainer. Do what you want to do without kicking people about it. Or do you just enjoy harassing women, OP? Is that what the real intent of the topic is?

The instances of mail order/internet brides that I have seen firsthand entailed a man wanting a meek woman. Not a good woman, not an honest woman, not avoiding gold diggers... a woman who will do as she is told.
So even though I understand it isn't all that way, my experience colors my attitude.
