Um, no, 6'0" is not short. I'm 6'0". The average American male is 5'8". 6'0" is considered tall (thank God!).

Thanks, but no, most messages to CD members have been initiated by me. They are not banging down my door on CD or in Oklahoma City, unfortunately. Although I was at a bar yesterday watching my Falcons and there was a woman who came in and sat down 2 chairs from me. As it turns out, she was from Atlanta too and moved here the exact same time I did. She was also very assertive and suggested we meet up for lunch sometime. Shame she wasn't my type. Still, a great ego boost. I am forcing myself to go out by myself even when I don't want to. Although yesterday it didn't take much to get me to my favorite bar to watch my favorite team. If it had been a Friday or Saturday night, I might not have gone out alone like that because I always come home frustrated when I do that and have any expectations whatsoever.

I swear I only ever get hit on by girls who aren't my type. I am starting to think that I am predisposed to dislike them once they start hitting on me. I must only be in it for the chase.

I don't think thats it. I know in my case, I consider the women who hit on me to be below average in either looks or personality or both. My standards are very high and I know what I like. If a woman I thought was attractive hit on me, I would be so excited I don't think I'd know how to react. But that just isn't gonna happen. The reason is these pretty women can have whoever they want and I may be ok looking, but I don't think I stand out, especially since I'm a little quiet/reserved.
