It's not one particular rejection as much as the quantity.I think the women who rejected me were trying to spare my feelings, but after so many, why bother anymore.I just don't seem to be noticeable. When I go out with friends,I see women looking and smiling at them.Never me,though. It's like I'm not there. That's what hurts.

I told a women I loved her after we had been dating and she told me she loved aspects of me but would never love me. After that she broke up with me.

I also remember a time in grade school where I had the love bug. That time it was mutual. The problem she had to move due to something with her parents. In that case it was actually me rejection the notion of long distance communication, but to this day it eats at me. I think I was afraid or something about abandonment with my father that just made me unable to try with her once she moved. Then again I was like 8 years old. lol.

Just throw your drink in her face if she gets nasty and tell her to "cool off".

Mod cut: Orphaned.

ANYWAY. I don't think I've ever asked a person out so I've never been rejected romantically. Oh, but I did go on a couple dates with a guy who told me he just wanted to be friends, but friends with our pants off. He was completely flabbergasted when I no longer wanted to see him.

I was expecting that story line to be followed by "I've got a new dryer at home." Well, maybe if the one who smiled was there by herself.
