For me and my wife it was just under five months. Our first date was on October 3rd, 2005 and our wedding day was February 25th, 2006. While that may seem insanely fast, it's worth noting the October date was our "second first date." We had gone on a date in February of that year as well, but were unable to pursue a relationship with each other due to a few different circumstances. From February through October we had not contact with each other, so it was essentially a completely new start in October.
How long did it take you to go from first date to married?
We had been romantically dating for 15 months by the time our wedding day had rolled around, and had known each other for about 30 months (we were close friends before we really dated romantically).
May 31, 1991 first date. July 19, 1995 got married. Got engaged on December 23, 1991. Took quite a while to go on and get married. I should have went with my judgment instead of against it.
That was the old days. Now? Well, I am still waiting!
First talk of marriage after 2 months of dating after meeting (he brought it up first!). Got engaged after 10 months of dating. Got married 1 year after that. 1 year and 10 months total.

Oh, good catch, the day you became engaged. That memory is a little more nebulous to me. It was probably late November when we started to seriously discuss where we were going. I know it sounds rushed, but it really wasn't. Right is right. Then she told me that she was pregnant (mid-December time frame), so I shrugged and suggested, "We're already talking about getting married. Let's talk sooner instead of later." I do regret not ever formally proposing to her. I had no idea how important that moment was. By that point though, I had sort of figured it was a foregone conclusion. Live and learn, I suppose.
It's absolutely insane to get married before at least 6 or 7 years of dating.
